Software costs businesses billions every year in wasted licences, weak contract terms and poor visibility. We’re building the platform that fixes that, and we’re looking for a leader who can own it end to end.

This is a rare role. You will lead product and data engineering for our Software Asset Intelligence platform, in equal measure. One side of you shapes the strategy and the roadmap. The other gets hands on with a complex data and an AI estate and makes sure it produces insight customers can trust and act on.

Our platform turns messy, scattered data from IT, security, finance and procurement systems into a single source of truth. It includes Software, Hardware and IT Estate visibility, Sustainability and a Contract Intelligence capability. The result: customers save cost, cut risk and walk into software negotiations with the upper hand.

You will sit at the centre of it all. You’ll set direction, you’ll get into the detail with data engineers, and you’ll make sure everything we build lands as real value for customers.

• Own the vision, strategy and roadmap for the platform, and decide what we build next
• Lead data engineering outcomes: quality, reliability, performance and cost
• Shape the Azure data and AI estate so it delivers insight people trust
• Direct our AI and Contract Intelligence capability, and keep its outputs accurate and explainable
• Work directly with customers and stakeholders to turn their needs into a coherent solution
• Prove the value: cost saved, risk reduced, negotiations won
• Build and lead a cross functional team of product, data and technical specialists

• Senior product leadership experience for a data, platform or analytics product
• Strong data engineering or data management leadership, credible with engineers and developers
• Working knowledge of Azure data and AI services, such as Fabric, Synapse, Databricks and Azure OpenAI
• A track record of delivering commercial outcomes from data products
• Confident facilitation and senior stakeholder influence

It would also help if you have:

• Experience with AI, LLM, RAG or document intelligence such as OCR
• Exposure to SAM, ITAM, security, finance or procurement data

• Own a genuinely hybrid remit. Product and data engineering, both yours, both equally valued
• Work on a live, complex Azure and AI estate, not a legacy stack
• See your work turn directly into customer savings and risk reduction
• Join at a senior level with real scope to shape the platform’s direction
